Plumbing maintenance and repair enquiries
A plumbing enquiry might concern a leaking tap, a toilet that is not working properly, damaged pipework or a drainage issue. Share what is happening, the affected fixture and whether there is an ongoing leak when you contact us.
Atlas can discuss the plumbing work alongside any related wall, cabinetry or finishing repairs. Hot water and other specialist requirements are assessed against the scope and the appropriate trade arrangements.
- Leaks, taps, toilets and plumbing fixtures
- Pipework and drainage maintenance enquiries
- Sink, basin and fixture replacements
- Hot water maintenance enquiries
Carpentry repairs and property fittings
Everyday use can leave doors out of alignment, hardware loose or cabinets difficult to operate. We can include those repairs in a maintenance request, along with damaged trims, timber fittings or minor joinery work.
Photos of the complete fitting and the damaged part help distinguish an adjustment from a replacement. Include the number of affected doors, drawers or items when describing the job.
- Doors, frames, hinges, handles and latches
- Cabinet doors, drawers and joinery repairs
- Skirting, trims, shelves and timber fittings
- Minor internal and external timber repair enquiries
Electrical maintenance and fault enquiries
Tell us which lights, outlets, switches or fittings need attention and whether the issue affects one part of the property or several areas. Atlas coordinates the electrical maintenance requirements with the appropriate trade for the approved job.
Electrical work is scoped for suitably authorised personnel. If the repair also involves ceiling access, wall repairs or replacement finishes, include those details so the associated work can be considered together.
- Fault finding and electrical repair enquiries
- Lighting and power maintenance
- Switches, outlets and electrical fittings
- Electrical fixture replacement enquiries
When a repair needs more than one trade
Some jobs are easier to plan as a complete repair rather than separate calls. For example, accessing pipework may leave plasterboard that needs patching and painting. A kitchen repair may involve plumbing fixtures and cabinetry adjustments.
Send the whole job description. We can discuss which tasks need assessment first, the order of the work, access requirements and any specialist input. Atlas remains the coordination contact for the agreed scope, including approved subcontracted work.
Specialist services and subcontractors
A property job can also require glazing, locksmith work, air-conditioning, waterproofing, flooring or another specialist service. We can include the coordination of suitable providers in the discussion rather than treating the initial trade request in isolation.
Availability, relevant trade credentials, materials and approval requirements are confirmed for the actual job. A listed service is an invitation to discuss the scope, rather than a guarantee of immediate attendance.

Questions about plumbing maintenance
Can I enquire about just one trade?
Yes. You can contact Atlas about a single plumbing, carpentry or electrical maintenance requirement. If related repairs are needed, include those in the same enquiry.
Can the job include painting or wall patching?
Yes. General maintenance such as plasterboard patching, painting and making good can be discussed alongside the main trade repair.
What is agreed before trade attendance?
We confirm the scope, trade requirements, availability and quote or pricing basis. Property access and any approval requirements are also clarified before the work is arranged.
