Plasterboard repairs and patching holes
Wall damage can range from a small dent to a hole or a damaged section of plasterboard. Tell us the location, approximate size and number of affected areas, and include photos of the surrounding surface.
The repair scope may include filling, patching or replacing a section, followed by joint finishing, sanding and preparation for paint. Ceiling and cornice repairs can also be included in an enquiry.
- Holes, dents and cracks in plasterboard
- Damaged wall or ceiling sections
- Joint repairs, filling and skim coats
- Cornice repairs and making good after other trades
Interior painting and paint touch ups
Painting work can include individual repairs, walls, ceilings, doors and trims, or a broader refresh between tenancies. Describe the rooms and surfaces involved so preparation and access can be considered when the scope is agreed.
If you have the existing paint colour, product details or a sample, include that information. The age and condition of the surrounding paint may affect whether a small touch-up or a larger area needs to be discussed.
- Walls, ceilings, doors and trims
- Touch-ups after repairs and tenancy changes
- Surface preparation, sanding and priming
- Stain blocking and agreed finishing work
Exterior finishes and minor surface repairs
Exterior painting enquiries can cover doors, trims, fences and other agreed surfaces. Include photos that show the material, existing finish, condition and access to the area.
Preparation, minor surface or render repairs and the proposed coating are considered as part of the job. Any underlying damage or specialist repair identified during assessment is scoped before the finishing work proceeds.
Making good after plumbing or electrical repairs
Trade work can leave an opening or an unfinished surface that needs a second visit. Include the making good work in the original repair list so patching and painting can be sequenced after the main fault has been addressed.
Where damage is associated with a leak or another ongoing fault, tell us what caused it and whether that issue has been resolved. The underlying repair and the finishing work can then be considered together.
Painting and patching between tenancies
For a vacant property, a room-by-room list helps bring painting, plastering and related repairs into one scope. Atlas can discuss these works alongside door adjustments, cabinetry, flooring, cleaning or other approved maintenance.
Include any planned inspection or handover date. We will confirm the scope and availability before the works are arranged, including any subcontractors or specialist providers required.

Questions about painting
Can you organise a small wall patch?
Yes. Small hole and plasterboard repair enquiries are welcome. Send photos and the approximate size so the repair and any painting can be discussed together.
Can painting be included with the plastering repair?
Yes. Tell us whether you need preparation, painting or matching with the existing finish included in the scope. Existing paint details are helpful where available.
Can a tenancy make good job include other maintenance?
Yes. Painting and patching can form part of a larger approved maintenance scope, including other trade repairs, cleaning and property presentation works.
